Misty Lam founded aestheticreative Marketing in 2020, directing influencer marketing strategies for both brands and creatives. In an industry where pay discrepancy across niches and ethnicities were painfully apparent, she sought out to build an agency that emphasizes opportunities for underrepresented voices in AAPI and BIPOC communities. She set her sights on creating a platform that would bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, giving rise to the birth of aestheticreative Marketing.
Misty's fascination with the power of social media and its ability to transform lives began during her college years. She was captivated by the rise of influencers who held the world spellbound with their creativity and authenticity. Witnessing how these digital stars could connect with millions of people, she realized the immense untapped potential in the world of influencer marketing.
